Hello, I'm Karen
Executive Coach, Psychotherapist and former senior HR leader with twenty years’ experience supporting people in complex workplaces.
My work is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, understanding and change when given the right conditions. I bring a warm, steady presence and a human centred style to all my sessions.

What to expect
Person centred therapy
A safe, compassionate and collaborative environment where you set the pace and the agenda. There is no judgement, no labels and no assumptions.
Solutions focused coaching
Clear insight, structured reflection and practical strategies that help you make meaningful changes in your personal or professional life.
Integrated support when helpful
For many people, emotional patterns, identity, workplace challenges and personal goals are intertwined. Being qualified in both coaching and therapy means I can support the whole picture.
Autism informed understanding
Whether diagnosed, self exploring or simply curious, you do not need to fit a mould. My approach focuses on strengths, identity and strategies that help you move through the world with confidence.
Non judgemental and culturally sensitive practice
I work with respect for your background, identity and experiences. My aim is to create space where you feel fully understood and supported.
A safe space for change to happen
My clients often describe me as calm, grounded and insightful. I create a safe space to explore who you are and who you want to become.
Professional background
For over two decades, I worked in senior HR leadership roles within international law firms and other high pressure, fast paced professional environments.
This shaped my understanding of people, workplace culture, and the personal impact of operating in roles where expectations are high and meaningful support is often limited.
Alongside my corporate career, I trained extensively in psychotherapy, counselling and executive coaching, becoming accredited by EMCC Global. My work integrates psychological insight with organisational experience, allowing me to support clients in ways that are both emotionally grounded and practical.
My experience includes:
-
Senior HR leadership roles within international law firms and complex professional environments
-
Leading and supporting teams through sustained organisational change
-
Navigating cross cultural workplaces and global organisational structures
-
Managing talent, performance, development and long term employee retention
-
Supporting leaders through high stakes decisions and periods of uncertainty
-
Working with individuals experiencing burnout, emotional strain and identity challenges
-
Practising as an autism informed practitioner supporting newly diagnosed clients and identity exploration
